Modeh Ani

I'm experimenting with Judaism again. Dangerous, I know. I guess you could say this is not a great time to write a post, as it is Saturday morning. But it doesn't feel like work. I'll make it short.  I received a great gift from a Jewish friend recently. A thing of great price. It reminded me of the love of the Jewish community, which has given me so much.  I am grateful for these gifts. I am grateful for H. Stern's tzedakah, for G. Friedman's fatherly love. I haven't forgotten any of these gifts. Add to these the generosity of the Shahor family that I will also never forget.  "Never forget" can refer to a tragedy, but it is impossible to say without also recognizing our survival, our stalwartness, and our compassion for the world.  Today I will move forward with intention. And that's all for now. Shabbat shalom.
